With the generous support of our community, Out Loud Louisville has continued to expand beyond a one-week summer camp to programming that is happening all year long. We need YOU to ensure that Out Loud Louisville can continue to grow and help youth to learn the power of music as a tool for personal and societal change.

Please support our flagship summer camp program (where over 50 participants can attend instrument lessons, form bands, collaboratively write original songs, participate in daily music and empowerment-related workshops, perform with their band at a live showcase at the end of the week, and record their songs in a professional recording studio).

Over the years, Out Loud Louisville has expanded our year round offerings including two additional free after school programs (held at La Casita Center and Maryhurst), a Ladies Rock program for adults, and a new music meets visual arts program, The Hall of Fame Project, in which current and former campers develop a critical and aesthetic understanding of the contributions of women and non-binary artists in music history. At the end of the program, an art exhibition was on display at KMAC Museum with an opening reception to celebrate. Additionally, we are currently partnering with the INTech Foundation for an after school augmented and virtual reality music creation course.

Your support helps our participants use music as a force for change – within themselves, their communities, and societally. We believe in the power of music to help us all navigate, make sense of, and fully enjoy our lives.

Donate An Instrument

Out Loud Louisville is currently accepting donations of gently used or new musical instruments and equipment to stock future camps and programs with the necessary tools. Our organization depends upon these donations to uphold our commitment to creating a supportive and educational environment around rock music.
